To comply with waste handling regulations and prevent evaporation of volatile compounds, DIN60 waste caps fit all bottles or canisters with DIN60 thread. They have three ports with ¼-28 thread and a fourth port with M10 x 1 thread for a barbed adapter or 1/2-20 thread for 1/4" tubing.
DIN60 waste caps seal the container with an O-ring behind a PTFE lip, so the O-ring is therefore not a wetted part. Unused ports should be closed with plugs.
A bottom-sealing barbed adapter to connect 4, 6, or 8 mm ID tubing can be ordered separately.
A VICI Jour waste cap package Includes:
- 1 cap, DIN60 thread
- 1 O-ring
- 1 set: 1/16" nut/ferrule/color-sleeve adapter
- 2 sets: 1/8" nut/ferrule/color-sleeve adapter
Caps with 1/2-20 thread add:
- 1 1/2-20 plug
- 1 1/2-20 nut for 1/4" tubing
- 1 1/2-20 collapsible ferrule for 1/4" tubing
